Story line brief ;

Mid 20th century Paris is nicely rendered & early 20th century Newyork is given charm.
Julie is a govt.employee working in Newyork .She lives with her husband Eric along with their cat above pizza parlour.All other friends of Julie are successful  in their careers ,but ,Julie isn't.Julia Child ,who started out as a bored housewife in Paris, looking to fill her time & evolved up as a major influence in American cuisines.When Julie was losing hope and interest in her present work ,One day she found a cook book by Julia child and decides to cook 524 recipes in that book and start blogging about her experience .She came up wih an idea of writing a blog on recipes influenced by her husband Eric. Initially ,like a new blog writer ,no one was taking much interest in it.But as time passes by,Julie gets more &more followers on her blog.
This is a parellel story or may be we can think it as an experience of two different people Julie & Julia whose interests in life is common.They loved doing the same thing ,inspite one lives in a big house with a help and other manages in a small house and manages to do everything by herself.

Julia Child
Honestly ,this film has a brilliant moments of humor in it.
The mannerisms of Julia child is incredibly endearing.Meryl Streeps acting is ofcourse superb! .She looks so charming in this role.She plays Julia so convincing and spontaneous in this movie.Onscreen her role has brought new life into this movie. Every shot Meryl Streep has come in the movie ,there will definitely be a smile on your face .She spreads freshness to the story.She has made French food accesable and you'll definetly want to cook it and give it a try. 

Julie Powell
Julie A role played by   AmyAdams  ,she is also very wonderful.She was found to be very subtle in her approach and seemed sympathetic going through her good moments.Initially,Julie is an govt.emplyoee working in Newyork .Julie at some time in her present career,she loses hope and interst .She starts writing food blog inspired by a cook book by Julia child.She is young &adorable and played her part incredibly !! 
Later ,Julie powell received national attention for her blog.

Eric Powell
Chris messina as Julie's husband supported the role constantly to keep the moment fresh throughout the movie.He &his wife a young couple struggling to establish in life ,stays above a pizza parlour in NewYork.  
 It was his suggestion that inspired Julie to experiment with recipes and write a blog .He acted very well as a supportive husband.
Other than these ,other casts Stanley Tucci played as Paul Child (Julia's husband)also played incredibly .

Summing up ;
A delightful movie about present day blogger following the recipes of legendary chef Julia Child . The idea of two women ,connected by the food is a total fun.The film's encouragement to enjoy measures of passion in any married life is perfectly fluffy.{Source ;Plugged in}. In March 2008 Ephron began filmimg up with Streep .On July 30th 2009 this film was officially premeiered in Newyork .It received the positive reviews from the critics.
